Dursley Dolphins travelled to Bristol to compete in a trophy gala hosted by Bristol North.
Opposition was strong as the host club were joined by Bradford-on-Avon and Soundwell.
Dursley started strongly in the 100 metres where Victoria Grimshaw and Alasdair Longden both achieved personal best times.
Alasdair also lowered his 50 metre backstroke time as a strong finish pulled him up to fifth place.
The butterfly races showed the most improvement as seven swimmers gained personal bests.
Anna Patterson, Edward Walsh, Gavin Thompson and Sam Hawkins all lowered their times by 3 seconds while George Kitchings and Elizabeth Crowley lowered theirs by two seconds and one second respectively.
The biggest drop however came from Stephanie Norris who improved her time by a massive six seconds.
Jonathan Mathews and Ben Miller both had good swims in the 50 metre breast stroke while Edward Paddock continued his improvement by knocking two seconds off his freestyle time.
Club Captain Charlotte Griffiths led by example in the Open age group, as did David Geller who had a very impressive string of results including three first places.
The relay races proved very encouraging in the younger age groups but unfortunately Dursley lost points in the open categories by not being able to field two teams.
