Wally Smith Cup Under 12s Whiteshill U12s 0 Thornbury Falcons U12s 5 Thornbury Falcons continued their unbeaten run with a convincing win over Whiteshill in the Wally Smith Cup.
Falcons made a good start when Jake Goode finished a flowing move to open the scoring.
Ben Fox doubled the lead with a powerful and accurate shot from the edge of the penalty area.
Whiteshill always looked dangerous on the break, particularly down the right wing, and it took a brave headed clearance off the line by James Macdonald for the Falcons to maintain their two goal advantage.
At the other end James Thomas produced an excellent run and cross which Luke Williams headed home for Thornbury's third goal. Whiteshill were thwarted by a last ditch block by Hayden Ball before Falcons' Connor Clifford scored just before half time with a simple tap-in.
The second half produced more end to end football but both defences coped well.
Matt Chapman in the Thornbury goal produced several good saves, but it was Falcons who scored again when Andrew Weeks produced a cool finish.
