Dursley U11s visited Kingsholm on Saturday where they were able to enjoy a tour of the stadium and benefit from an intensive coaching session provided by Gloucester RFC. The highlight of the day was to watch the Gloucester-Wasps game from the new stand and take part in a demonstration game on the Kingsholm turf at half time.
On Sunday Dursley hosted Thornbury U11s, winning the first game 3-2 and narrowly losing 1-0 to Thornbury at the last minute in the second game.
Both games gave the supporters much to chers about, with the Dursley players performing well in the tackles and rucks against a fast and well-disciplined Thornbury side.
