GLOUCESTERSHIRE stars David Payne and Tom Price rolled up their sleeves to help Chipping Sodbury's preparations for the start of the new cricket season.
The county duo dropped in at The Ridings as part of the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation's #GetSetWeekend initiative.
And they were soon busy, teaming up with Sodbury members to decorate dressing rooms as well as sorting kit donated for a Lord's Taverners recycling programme.
Sodbury chairman Jim Kendall said: "We're really grateful to both lads for coming along and really getting stuck into our long list of things to do.
"The wet weather meant we were unable to do very much outside but fortunately there were plenty of jobs indoors which we were able to sort out."
Sodbury's opening pre-season friendlies are scheduled for April 15 ahead of all four Saturday sides launching their league programmes on May 6, including the first XI marking their return to WEPL following last year's promotion with a home clash against Tewkesbury.
