BRISTOL & West came out on top of their top-of-the-table clash with Dursley Ladies on Sunday.
Both sides went into the game undefeated this season but it was the visitors who took the win after coming from 1-0 down.
The away side started strongly but were denied by home keeper Aine Redmond who made the first of many excellent saves behind a strong resistance by the Dursley defence.
Dursley did respond well but could only go close before Kiaro Ford scored on the stroke of half-time to give Dursley a one goal lead at the break.
When play resumed, the visitors again started strongly and when the ball was only partially cleared by Dursley, a Bristol & West forward was able to fire them level.
The away side scored the winning goal with a training ground move from a short corner just a couple of minutes later and they remained dominant for the rest of the game.
They could have extended their lead but Redmond again made a series of outstanding saves and marshalled the defence well.
Dursley tried hard to get an equaliser and put pressure on the visitors defence at the end but could not find the net.
