RACE organisers have confirmed that entries for a prestigious Dursley race are already running out, three months before the event.
Dursley Running Club have announced that entries for what will be the 34th edition of the infamous, lung-busting trail run – the Dursley Dozen – are almost sold out.
With just under 150 places available until the event reaches full capacity, returning runners or those thinking of taking part for the very first time are urged to enter very soon to avoid missing out. The race takes place on Sunday, February 18, 2024 with a start time of 10:30.
After the near sell-out success of the 2023 edition, which took place under beautiful sunny skies in late February, the race will once again be held on the same undulating course in 2024.
Taking runners up, down, and around Stinchcombe Hill, the 12-mile course offers stunning views of the Severn estuary and boasts just over 2000 feet of climbing.
Arguably, the ultimate trail running experience in the Cotswolds, the Dursley Dozen is the perfect event for runners who enjoy a challenge as well as racing off-road.
All finishers will receive a commemorative technical t-shirt as a memento of their hard work after crossing finish line in the centre of Dursley.
