TEENAGER Raheim Henry struck in the 88th minute as Thornbury Town put an end to their winless run in all competitions with a narrow 1-0 win over Mangotsfield United.
Henry came off the bench to strike with just minutes left on the clock to help Thorns to a first win since the start of January and to end former Southern League side Mangotsfield's six-match unbeaten run in their pursuit of a play-off place.
Both sides had their chances, but it was Henry who took his to secure a deserved three points.
Another youngster, 17-year-old Stanley Wyatt, fed a ball into the path of fellow youngster Henry, who drove forward and finished brilliantly, low into the bottom corner, to seal a fantastic home performance.
"A huge shout-out has to go to the match winner," said Thornbury Town manager Richard Joyce.
"Raheim is only 16-years-old and has been training with us for the last few months. His attitude has been outstanding, he is a very polite and likeable character who the lads have taken to, and on top of all that, he is clearly a very talented young player who we have been able to give an opportunity to with his development.
"He's been at Forest Green Rovers in their academy and is a part of Bath City's under-18s set-up and he took his goal brilliantly - far beyond what you'd expect from many people his age.
"It's a moment he'll remember forever and a goal that could prove to be another crucial step in what we're working hard to achieve this season."

"The lads got everything they deserved and it is an excellent three points for us.
"Everyone on the pitch, from those who started the game to those who came on, produced a performance. When you do that you give yourself a huge chance of getting a result.
"We needed everyone to perform whether it was at the back of the pitch helping us to a clean sheet, to the energy provided by our midfielders and the threat our attacking players offered. We ended up outfighting them."
