CHIPPING Sodbury celebrated father's day in style with a one-run home victory on Sunday over Frenchay.
A team featuring Jamie Wakefield along with sons Riley and Cooper, Jay Penfold, plus sons Matt and James, Chris Meredith and sons Archie and Barney along with Raj Manchikalapati and son Gautham,managed to defend a total of 130.
And dismissals by the team of 13 (including rolling subs) included a Caught Penfold Senior bowled Penfold Junior, and a Caught Wakefield Senior bowled Wakefield Junior!
Sunday numbers were so good that Sodbury also played Coalpit Heath on the main pitch at The Ridings where Pete Frost and son Ewan helped secure a 22-run win.
