Friendly Bristol Manor Farm 3 Kingswood AFC 0
KINGSWOOD began their pre-season campaign with a game at Toolstation opponents Bristol Manor Farm, with the home side running out 3-0 to the good.
With three divisions between the two sides, Kingswood were always going to be challenged, however in the main they rose to this with some good individual performances against their more illustrious hosts.
Bristol Manor Farm were one up at the break, with the visitors enjoying a fair share of the play.
However, numerous playing and positional changes impacted the quality of play in the second period, with two further goals from Ben Hiscox.
Kingswood Manager Ian Evans said: “All in all I was happy with the boys tonight.
“We tried a few things against a good footballing side which bodes well for the coming season.”
