SHARPNESS came away from Longlevens on Saturday after a game in which they were very unlucky not to get any points from the league leaders.
Without Brad Thomas and Mitchell Melshansky they took the game to the home side and built up early pressure.
Pete Waite made a very good save in the 20th minute when he quickly closed down the centre forward of the home side.
Longlevens scored the only goal of the game when Browning had a very lucky bounce and deflection which the visitors’ defence could do little about.
From this point on the Sharks were very much in the game but failed to score with a number of chances.
This was the first loss in 13 games for the Sharks where they have only conceded five goals but the lack of goalscorers has indeed been a problem.
