HALLEN romped to victory in their last home game of the season.

In the first ten minutes Hallen’s Tom Collett and Jason Reynolds twice missed easy chances as they failed to even put their efforts on target when in one-on-one situations with the keeper.

On 11 minutes, it was down to Tony Beecham to produce the goods from 22 yards as his precision strike left the keeper groping thin air.

Hallen’s good approach work against an under strength visiting team was good, but before the second goal, Hallen missed four more sitters courtesy of Beecham, Reynolds, Stuart Nelson and Collett.

The second goal came after 38 minutes when Jaz Bright played in a good ball to Nelson who was in the area. He side-stepped a few tackles before calmly firing into the corner of the net.

The half then ended with the visiting keeper making good saves from Collett and Nelson, and Beecham blasting over with just the keeper to beat.

Five minutes into the second half Hallen went three up thanks to a glorious strike from Andy Cook from 25-yards out.

This was followed by a screamer from distance by Ronnie Mowatt but it went inches wide of the post.

Reynolds then missed another two opportunities when well-placed in the area, but with five minutes to go one of the home strikers got their name on the score sheet.

It was Collett who rode a block tackle as he entered the area and fired into the corner of the net.

The game then finished as it started - with Reynolds failing to hit the target when he had just the keeper to beat.
