FIVE students from Wotton-under-Edge EWSKA karate club took part in the Open National Championships in Hungary and, along with the rest of the England squad, they competed against competitors from around the world.
Hungary always host extremely hard competitions but Wotton students faired very well and returned with an impressive medal haul.

In the team section, Katie Oram, along with Deradie Harding, came third in the ladies Kumite with Paul and Tom Harding getting third in the men’s Kumite.

They are now working towards the World Championships in Odessa in the Ukraine.
