IT WAS a baptism of fire for Rockhampton skipper Matt Tyler as his side were well beaten in his first game in charge.
After being put in to bat, Swindon piled on the runs with Bruce Martin making 123 and fellow opener Chris Rogers scoring 60.
Tyler opened the bowling and took 3-62 off his twelve overs, but Jack Spence claimed the best figures of 3-26 from seven overs.
Three of Rockhampton’s top four batsman failed to reach double figures with ducks for Will and Matt Tyler. However, Simon Hore scored 43 off 53 balls and Jeremy White scored 52 as they looked to build a respectable total.
Their resistance was finally broken as they were bowled out, four balls short of making it to 50 overs.
