PETER BOOTH hit a half-century to inspire Stone to their first victory of the season.
After captain Peter Lavis opted to bat first, opener Booth looked to put Stone in control early on, but both Darren Turl and Miles Palmer fell for six to leave them on 48-2.
Lavis offered Booth good support in a 44-run partnership before he was caught out for 21.
Two wickets fell in quick succession as Trevor Burley was run out for six and Booth was bowled by Ed Tolley (5-34) for 60, leaving Stone on 112-5.
A spell of three wickets for just one run saw them fall further into trouble on 122-8 but Andrew Hall’s unbeaten 19 lifted them to 152-9.
Charlie Viney and Lavis removed Tewkesbury’s opening pair of Simon Vincent and Stuart Tame early on as Stone made a good start with the ball.
Tewkesbury slumped once a partnership of 49 between captain John Allcoat (13) and Graham Piesse (24) was broken - both batsmen going in quick succession to leave the score on 67-4.
Lavis (3-20), Viney (3-26), Ian Hall (2-49) and Burley (2-10) took wickets at regular intervals to give Stone victory although they were given a scare by a last wicket partnership of 23 between Tom Brown (34) and Steve Bowers (10*).
