FRAMPTON COTTERELL have appointed Paul Beet as their new Head Coach.
Beet has played in over 250 senior games for Frampton, spending four seasons as first team captain, and he also had two seasons playing in the first team for Dings RFC.
He was forced into early retirement due to too many back injuries.
He is a ‘towards’ level three coach and has just completed two very successful years coaching at Cleve RFC.
Beet said: “I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity and honour of becoming Frampton Cotterell’s new Head Coach.
“My aim is clear - in year one Frampton Cotterell will be able to compete and win at our present league or merit table level across all teams.
“To compete and win at out present level we will have to get fitter as a club, attend regular training, adhere to work and play to a player ethos-charter and, most of all, get the sprit and belief back into the playing side of the club.”
Beet has already started to put together a strong coaching staff.
Ex-Cleve player Liam Smye will assist him and take on the role as backs coach.
David Lloyd fitness trainer Mark Davis will play and take on the role as Conditioning coach.
