GLOUCESTERSHIRE Gladiators suffered their second defeat in eight days against Worcestershire Royals, this time at Bristol.
The opening pair of Vikram Solanki (51) and Steven Davies (50) did most of the damage with an opening partnership of 102, helping the Royals to 188-5.
Gloucestershire fell 13 runs short despite 64 off 50 balls from Alex Gidman, including five fours and one six, After the skipper’s 94-run second wicket partnership with Hamish Marshall (41), the run rate slowed and they finished on 175-8.
