WINTERBOURNE youngster Dave Attwood scored his first ever Guinness Premiership try to salvage a draw for Gloucester against Worcester.
The 6’7” second row came on as a second half replacement for Adam Eustace and dived over in the last minute to level the game at 13-13, but Carlos Spencer missed the conversion that would have clinched a dramatic victory.
Attwood, 22, has made ten Premiership starts for Gloucester this season after joining them from local rivals Bristol in the summer.
He has been an ever-present in the squad with four Heineken Cup starts as well, and scored his first try in senior rugby against Cardiff Blues in November, where Gloucester lost 26-25 in the LV=Cup group match at Kingsholm.
Former Dursley youth player Charlie Sharples, who is Gloucester’s top try scorer this season, went off injured after 36 minutes against Worcester.
