DURSLEY Town will compete in Northern Senior One for a fourth consecutive season after it was confirmed by the league that they avoided the dreaded drop.
Relegation rivals Stroud FC had their abandoned match at Smiths Athletic ratified by the league as a 3-2 defeat, meaning Town finished 13th - one place above the bottom three.
However, with Longlevens granted promotion to the County League and no side coming the other way, only two sides were relegated to Division Two anyway.
That means Dursley will remain in the same division as derby rivals Sharpness next season and they will also play against Frampton, Harrow Hill and Winchcombe, who are promoted from Division Two.
Cam Bulldogs and Wotton Rovers will be joined in Division Two by relegated sides Tetbury and Barnwood, as well as league newcomers Abbeymead, Hardwicke and Minsterworth.
