SLIMBRIDGE are set to welcome Southern League side Evesham United for their first home pre-season friendly ahead of the 2011-12 season.
The Robins finished 12th in the Zamaretto Premier Division last season and look set to be the most high profile side at Wisloe Road this summer when they visit on Saturday, July 23.
Slimbridge are also set to welcome Toolstation Western Premier League sides Radstock Town and Bristol Manor Farm on July 30 and August 6 respectively.
Slimbridge will also play two friendlies away from home, visiting County League champions Brimscombe and Thrupp on July 16 and Hellenic Division One West outfit Malmesbury Victoria on July 19.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Dave Evans was named players’ player of the year at the club’s end of season presentations.
Defender Tom Speers won both the manager’s player and supporters’ player of the year awards.
Ross Langworthy received an award for finishing as the first team’s leading goalscorer, while Barry Gay was clubman of the year.
