Chipping Sodbury put in their best performance of the season to smash Twyford House with the game over before tea.
Sodbury skipper James Rendell elected to bowl first on a humid afternoon.
The decision paid dividends as the pace of Jamie Wakefield and the unerring accuracy of Jay Penfold were too much for the Twyford top order to handle.
Penfold removed the top three with the help of keeper John Rendell, who claimed a smart stumping and a catch with some fine glovework.
The seamer then produced an unplayable delivery that dumbfound Ross Sutton as it took out the off stump.
Wakefield got in on the act as he managed to break a stump in the process.
The pair picked up four wickets each and at 67-8 Twyford were in real trouble.
Some late big hitting delayed the inevitable but Jon Toghill finished the job with the final two wickets as the visitors were all out in the 24th over.
Sodbury were given the perfect start as they chased down their modest target by Bryan Jater and the promoted Harry Webb.
Webb, in particularly, was in scintillating form as he creamed 40 from just 42 balls with seven fours and a huge straight six.
He was finally dismissed with the score on 72 and Rich Howell (1) soon followed.
Kris Davis soon finished the job with 20 not out from 15 balls with Jater 33 not out the perfect foil as Sodbury romped home in just 20 overs.
WEPL Bristol & North Somerset Division 2nd XI Twyford House (173-9) lost to Chipping Sodbury 2nd XI by six wickets
A magnificent run chase saw Chipping Sodbury 2nds beat Twyford House.
The home side decided to bat first and made steady progress to reach 67-1.
The introduction of the increasingly reliable Bradley Arkwright turned the game in Sodbury’s favour as he claimed three quick wickets with Alex Tebbitt and Nick Wake also chipping in.
Some lusty mid-order batting took Twyford to a respectable total before Chris Willoughby returned to the attack to halt their progress as he also picked up three wickets.
Sodbury got off to a shaky start in reply, losing Nick Wake (6) and Tom Febry (8) early on.
Lee Walters (28) got Sodbury back on track but he soon perished as well.
Mark Reynolds and Will Christofi set about their task diligently. Christofi very much played the supporting role and as it was Reynolds who set about the Twyford attack.
Rather uncharacteristically, he bludgeoned ten fours and one six on his way to a season’s best 65.
Christofi was run out on 44 with Sodbury just shy of their total and it was left to Reynolds to hit the winning runs.
Sodbury had made light work of a tricky target and eased home with three overs to spare.

Chipping Sodbury continued their unbeaten season with a nervy victory over Bristol Pakistanis.
The Pakistanis batted first and had no answer to the swing and accuracy of Matt Calicott.

Sodbury lost early wickets in reply with only Jeff Long (24) standing firm in the face of adversity.
However, when he was dismissed Sodbury were in a spot of trouble.
Steve Doidge (11*) and Ben Weaver (18*) then entered the fray to calm the Sodbury nerves and guide them home.

a strong Hanham team summoned Chipping Sodbury to their first defeat of the season.

However, when both fell in quick succession the innings soon tailed off.
Hanham were never in trouble chasing their target and despite late wickets from Darren Bell, Ross Granger and Tregear they cruised home.
