ROCKHAMPTON were one of the worst affected teams as rain caused several games to be cancelled or abandoned on Saturday.
They dropped into the relegation zone of the West of England Premier League Glos/Wilts Division after their home game against Potterne was a washout and Cheltenham beat Swindon in the only match of the division to be completed to climb out of the bottom two.
Rockhampton 2nds remain bottom of the Glos/Wilts Division 2nd XI after their game at Potterne also fell victim of the weather.
However, the 3rds did play and they beat Stroud & District Premier League leaders Slimbridge by 84 runs.
Paul Williams top-scored with 39 as they reached 172-9 before Slimbridge were bowled out for just 88.
