Kingswood men’s first team – Pete Taylor, Ed Butler, Dave Barnett, Andrew Baird
KINGSWOOD men secured a well deserved promotion in the Gloucestershire Badminton League. After a difficult 2011 season that saw Kingswood remain static in Division Five, a change in personnel and greater focus saw them win the league.
Their second team also secured promotion with a closely fought campaign, culminating in a runners-up spot and Kingswood’s mixed team also gained promotion in the Bristol league.
This is a great achievement, especially with Kingswood about to celebrate its 40th anniversary next season.
